FREE & REDUCED MEAL APPLICATIONS
Free & Reduced Meal Applications 2013/14
1. Each household must complete a new application for Free and Reduced Price Meals each year, only one application per household is needed. Make sure to list all household members.
2. Qualification for free and reduced price meals is based on gross income and family size. Please be sure the application is filled out completely, or it may be returned.
3. If a new application is not submitted each year, meal benefits will be terminated. Once an application is processed, a letter will be sent indicating the status for your student. You may also inquire in the cafeteria during non-meal times.
4. You have two options for submitting an application.
Option 1: Apply securely at https://lunch.mpusd.k12.ca.us Information is submitted sooner and benefits may start earlier using this option.
Option 2: Submit information on the application form below or request an application from the school office or cafeteria. Return applications to your student's school or fax to us directly at (831) 392-3443.

Who We Are
MPUSD's Wellness Council is made up of Child Nutrition staff, committed community members and district administration to create, promote and evolve healthful policies, programs and visions for our students. Periodic meetings are held to review the district policy and discuss opportunities to promote nutrition, physical activity and lifestyles of wellness.
